A First Look at the FLUIDS Demonstrator

The first milestone to be reached by the FLUIDS project consisted in having a prototype to demonstrate the basic features of the user interface software environment based on an off-line implementation of the actual domain. The demonstrator is an abstract version of aspects derived from the Turin and Madrid test sites by simulating the underlying system with an adequate set of data files obtained from the two information systems. An experimental on-line version of the multimedia interface of the FLUIDS demonstrator has been made available on the World-Wide Web.
