[mary-dev] Differences between svn and standalone-installation

Hello Ingmar and Marc,

Marc: I tried to install the Telugu in the standalone installed version
and the problem appears also in this version of the server.

Ingmar: My system is a 64 bit Ubuntu (I notice that in the ticket is
wiriten 32 bit), the version Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx)
uname -a
Linux kailash 2.6.32-25-generic #44-Ubuntu SMP Fri Sep 17 20:05:27 UTC
2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Anyway... I have not a definite result yet, but I made some tests and
seem that the problem is connected with my home disk...
The same installation that fails in my home disk, placed in another disk
(external disk, usb disk) run without problems.
I made also a test in 64 system with the same version of Ubuntu, and the
test went well.
So I think the problem is strictly connect with my system. I'll change
the disk and I will let you know.

Thanks for the support,
Fabio.

I'm not sure if we can fix this without too much effort, but it is probably worth keeping in mind, since it might cause other "random" issues in the future whenever more than one possible path through the registered modules is possible...

That component causes the DummyAllophones2AcoustParams module to become registered during Mary server startup. While this should not normally impact the use of a voice that does not request this component, I'll hazard a wild guess that maybe this is nevertheless interfering with your 32 bit system for some unknown reason.
