thank you for drawing attention to the issue, which has now been resolved.

Incidentally, the online demo is by no means intended to provide a 
reliable webservice; anyone looking to make more productive use of 
MaryTTS is warmly encouraged to download and install MaryTTS and the 
desired voices on a local machine.
