Hi,

I am trying to synthesize some emotions through prosodic characteristics. One of the encountered problems was related to that MaryTTS is not able (i think) to parse the attribute (volume) within an xml or ssml input type (which means that in the xml or ssml characteristic format, i was trying to investigate the effect of changing the (volume) on clarifying the difference between emoions like: hapinees and neutral). I found that the attribute (volume) has no effect on the generated voice, which make a true difficulty towards emphasizing the level of affect within an utterance. 

**** So can you please tell me if there is a way to successfully change the volume level of an utterance (pls remark that it is only working on your web interface, but not through the code)??????

**** Is there a possibility to have a look on the vocal patterns (pitch contour, rate ...etc) that you have proposed for some emotions in german, so that i may be able to use them in english????
