[mary-users] Socket interface

Hi,

I'm trying to make an interface for another (non-local and non-java)
project to send requests to Mary and stream audio back. As far as I can
tell, the socket interface (as in the c++ example client) is the only
option. The HTTP interface doesn't seem to support streaming. The socket
interface looked a little less "official", though. Is it going to be in
future versions? Or is it deprecated or slated for substantial changes?

The source code and comments indicate a synthesis request needs two
sockets - one to make the initial request and another to send the text and
receive the file. I suppose there's no way to combine the two into one
transaction?

Thanks,

Ben Cahill
