in the process of releasing the German components as open source, we
had to replace the previous pronunciation lexicon with one that was
fully created by ourselves. It currently contains ~26.000 entries, and
apparently "kaufst" and "Astern" don't seem to be in it.<br>
<br>
Additions to the lexicon are welcome!<br>
<br>
What you could do is the following:<br>
<br>
1. Generate the "PHONEMES" format, and check that the words have been
transcribed correctly.<br>
<br>
2. If not, add the correct entries to MARY
TTS/lib/modules/de/lexicon/userdict.txt, restart the MARY server, and
try again.<br>
<br>
3. If you want to contribute to the MARY project, send us the generic
parts of your userdict.txt and allow us to include the entries into the
next lexicon.<br>
