I would not spend too much time fixing this. The internal state machine 
parser is not used at all in rock, and even in RTT it is being (slowly) 
superseded by the Lua scripting engine.

That would be a nice addition. In principle, the flags are set in the 
rock.toolchain package set (look into the autobuild files) based on the 
selected target.
