[Rock-dev] Integration of an Qt GUI into a ROCK deployment.

Hey List.

 

I’ve a little problem, I’d like to ask you for assistance with.

We did develop a small UI for a project we’re using the ROCK framework.

Now we’re trying to integrate this UI, written in Qt to the ROCK software
stack we’re already working with.

So I did try to make a ROCK library / OROGEN component out of it yesterday –
and failed.

 

In the end, I tried to at least use the *.ui definition, but got stuck at
the point, that vizkit couldn’t be found.

[I did use a dummy orogen component, included the *.ui file and tried to
fire a ruby script containing the lines like suggested in the tutorial about
vizkit.]

Which made me wonder, for as far as I understood, vizkit is included in
rock.base, which is also included in our project’s deployment ?

 

Could someone give me some assistance on that ?
