Not going to help:

- from my experience, when svn.pointclouds.org is down, it is really
   down ... trying 10 times is not gonna make it better.
- failed checkouts on gitorious happens very very rarely since there
   is the HTTP fallback.
- retrying when autobuild / autoproj has a bug is definitely not
   gonna help.
