This is not a option for rock because you can not mix openCV versions 
between libraries. As some packages requiring opencv > =2.2 we decided 
to overwrite the os dependency (in autoproj) with the external one. 
Maybe we can disabling the opencv phython stuff. Or does someone need 
opencv python bindings (insight rock)?
