 Calling periodically task.state is crashing after a while with the
 following error message.

 I have no idea which conditions must be met to reproduce the error.
 The setup is the following:
 Multiple task are running on a headless system which are connected to
 a ruby script displaying the data and states on another machine. All
 traffic is routed through a port_proxy.
