I am not sure what you talk about here ...

IMO, the main functionality should be called gui/vizkit, with 
gui/vizkit3d the C++ 3D part.

Then there is the Qt/typelib work, which could go into gui/qt_typelib 
(and would be a mix of ruby and C++)
