[Rock-dev] rake-compiler requieres RubyGems version >= 1.8.25

Dear RoCKers,

I was checking out the code for KDL, and while doing "autoproj update 
control/orogen/kdl" I run into the error shown in the subject of the 
email.

I found ticket #309 shows a very similar error but I don't know how to 
install the changes of that patch. Do I have to update and rebuild 
rock_base?

I am using RubyGems version 1.8.15, Ubuntu 12.04, and I'm on next. Shall I 
try "gem update --system" first?
