The plan (that has been discussed here) was to use github pages instead 
of external hosing, github is already running jekyll for all the content 
hosted as pages.

That was the open question in the discussion.

But when there is only "stable/release" and "master" (as since last 
Friday on the curretn Page), there is no issue.
I think the HP should then only feature the release and have a section 
which tells devs how to get the "bleeding edge" of the code.

Improvements to the doc can directly go to the page (by pull request).
Documentation of new features are just merged on release.

What do you think?
