<br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">Dear rockers,</font><font size=3> <br>

when running rock-display remotely:</font><font size=3> <br>
</font><font size=2 face="sans-serif"><br>
rock-display --host=[<i>remote</i>]</font><font size=3> <br>
</font><font size=2 face="sans-serif"><br>
the task inspector window opens and shows the following error:</font><font size=3>

</font><font size=2 face="sans-serif"><br>
CORBA system exception: OBJECT_NOT_EXIST_NoMatch</font><font size=3> <br>
</font><font size=2 face="sans-serif"><br>
my remote machine is reachable an online (e.g. I can ping or ssh to it).
*SOMETIMES* resetting the corba name service on the remote machine (as
explained here: </font><a href="http://www.dfki.de/pipermail/rock-dev/2013-June/003169.html"><font size=2 color=blue face="sans-serif"><u>http://www.dfki.de/pipermail/rock-dev/2013-June/003169.html</u></font></a><font size=2 face="sans-serif">)
fixes it and I can remote rock-display again. However, it is not always
the case. I believe there is some random behaviour where the corba name
service of the remote machine binds to different IP addresses when restarting
it (making it unreachable sometimes). </font><font size=3><br>
</font><font size=2 face="sans-serif"><br>
I believe I have seen a way to force CORBA to bind to a specific IP address,
but don't remember which file exactly needs to be modified for that.</font><font size=3>

Any idea?</font><font size=3> <br>
