The Verification Support Environment (VSE) is a tool which provides support for all phases of the formal software development process. It was initiated by the German Information Security Agency (GISA) and has been developed by industrial and academic partners. VSE was released in 1996 and has already been successfully applied in commercial projects. In response to several requests from academia, the VSE consortium, comprising the DFKI GmbH, the ist GmbH, and the University of Ulm, is pleased to announce a special offer to universities and non-profit research institutes. A special University Licence has been released for the VSE system, making it available for teaching and research purposes. To coincide with this, the VSE consortium cordially invites you to participate in the VSE Info-Days in Saarbrücken, where we will present the VSE system and its range of applications, as well as the groups and persons associated with the system. Although the University Licence is intended for users from academia, everyone with a technical interest in the VSE system is welcome to attend.
The Info-Days will provide background to and an overview of the VSE system. Time will be devoted to technical aspects, as well as to showing how the system can be used in practice. The system will be demonstrated in small groups, to facilitate participant interaction. A special session will be devoted to general discussion and dealing with questions raised by participants.
The event will take place at the University of Saarland, in Saarbrücken. If you have any questions or require further information do not hesitate to contact:
If you would like to participate in the Info-Days, please fill in the application form (disabled) until 30.11.1997. We will be happy to help with your hotel reservations.
You can of course register by telephone or traditional mail.
