Prosumerization - changing the shape of mobile service provision

Abstract
It is beyond dispute, that customers are an important factor for the provision of services. However, in the following of Web 2.0 and co, a new kind of consumer evolves: the prosumer, that is not only consuming services but also directly involves the service production. In this paper we will explain which impact such a prosumer has on mobile services. We will detail the findings for mobile service providers and their supporting information technology. Finally, we will present a case to explain the shift from conventional to prosumerized service provision.
