SMM - SocialMediaMiner
Das Projekt Social Media Miner (SMM) befasst sich mit der Aggregation, Analyse und Visualisierung von Roh- und Metadaten, die im Kontext der sozialen Nutzung des WWW entstehen. Unter dem Schlagwort Web2.0 ist diese Art der extrem partizipativen Nutzung des Mediums populär geworden und in unterschiedlichsten Ausprägungen auch in Deutschland omnipräsent. Weblogs, Wikis und Social Software werden zunehmend in deutschen Unternehmen beobachtet, bzw. auch aktiv eingesetzt. SMM macht sich diesen Umstand zu Nutze, um neue Algorithmen zu erforschen, Testumgebungen zu realisieren und die Erkenntnisse an Verwertungspartner zu transferieren.
