Workshop Description

As its past editions, this workshop aims at bringing together Semantic Web and Deep Learning research as well as industrial communities. Additionally, the third edition of the workshop offers a platform for joining computational linguistics and formal approaches to represent information and knowledge, and so opens the discussion for new and innovative application scenarios for computational linguistics. The workshop will also contribute to widening the appeal of COLING/EMNLP/NAACL/ACL to audiences outside of computational linguistic research as it is based on a joint call of structured knowledge and state-of-the-art language processing approaches.
The first edition of SemDeep was held as a satellite event to ESWC 2017. SemDeep-2 was co-located to IWCS 2017.

Invited Talk

We are very happy to announce that Steven Schockaert (Carfiff University) and Christos Christodoulopoulos (Amazon Research Cambridge) will give invited talks. Steven Schockaert will talk on the topic of "Knowledge Representation with Conceptual Spaces" and Christos Christodoulopoulos will talk on "Knowledge Representation and Extraction at Scale."
