Via this page, you can access the complete proceedings volume of UM97, the Sixth International Conference on User Modeling. UM97 was held in Chia Laguna, Sardinia, from 2-5 June 1997.

A Few Tips

• Don't worry if the file can't be viewed satisfactorily in your PostScript previewer.

  Although some on-line previewers have difficulty with some of the files, there have been no reports of difficulties in printing the files on PostScript-capable laser printers (on European A4 or U.S. letter paper).

• When citing an article, you can refer to individual pages if necessary.

  The page numbering in the on-line versions is the same as in the printed proceedings volume.

• When citing an article, please include the full bibliographic information, which is given at the top of the first page, including the reference to the Web site http:////www.um.org.

  Faced with an imprecise citation like "Proceedings of UM97", many readers will have no idea of how to get hold of the article in question.

  LaTeX users can copy the BibTeX entry given on the page with the article's abstract--or download the BibTeX database for the entire volume.
