About me
I am a researcher in the Talking Robots group in the Language Technology lab at DFKI Saarbrücken, working on context- and user-sensitive spoken language comprehension and production in human-robot interaction under the supervision of Dr. Geert-Jan Kruijff. Currently my research is funded by the EU FP7 project NIFTi (urban search-and-rescue robotics).
Previously I was a Master's student in EM LCT (Erasmus Mundus in Programme in Language and Communication Technologies). I did my BSc and the first year of the LCT programme at Charles University in Prague, and the rest in Saarbrücken at the Department of Computational Linguistics and Phonetics.

- The abducer is a weighted abduction inference engine with an Ice interface. Requires a recent Mercury compiler (tested with 10.04.2), Ice 3.3.1 (even though newer versions should still work), Google Protocol Buffers 2.3 or 2.2. Please read the installation file INSTALL.txt in the archive.
Mercury-related
Mercury is a logic/functional programming language I've worked with in a couple of projects.
- Syntax-highlighted Mercury 0.13.1 Standard Library reference. The syntax highlighting was done using gVim. You can also download the entire thing as a gzipped tar file.
- improved Mercury syntax file for Vim. It is a reworked version of Ralph Becket's syntax file distributed with Mercury — the most significant change is the highlighting of variables. Works reasonably well for me in Vim 7.2.
- mdepgraph. A Perl script that produces a dependency graph (in the GraphViz DOT format) for includes and imports between Mercury files from a given list. Run "mdepgraph -h" to display help.
- Mercury Indent, a tool for reformatting source code files in the Mercury programming language, similar in function to the classic Unix indent. Work in progress (I develop this in my free time). Want to help? Contact me!
