 This workaround does not help during an new bootstrap you have first to
 modify the file:

 /home/auv/next/.gems/gems/autoproj-1.7.20/lib/autoproj/default.osdeps line
 76 and set the automake1.9 value in ' ':

     debian,ubuntu: ['automake1.9', autoconf]

 later the workaround above helps...
