[Rock-dev] Running Rock on ruby 1.9 (including GUI !)

I'm checking this with a new bootstrap for our RIMRES project.

If i bootstrap with the given script with the latest ruby interpreter 
based on the instruktions from the TRAC, Is autoproj automatically using 
ruby1.9.1 and gem1.9.1?
Or is it necessary to configure it.

Can it be problematic to have ruby1.8 and ruby1.9 installed in parallel 
on my local maschine?
