 At the moment it is hard to monitor a logger therefore it would be nice to
 have a status message.

 Possible structure:
  * std::vector<status package per logged stream>
     * name of the stream
     * name of the logfile
     * type name
     * number of logged samples
     * time stamp of the last logged sample
     * number of logged bytes

 Additional to this there should be a property to set the maximum frequency
 of the status message
