INTRODUCTION:
-------------

Software agents and multiagent systems provide a paradigm
for designing decentral systems, characterized by local task
descriptions and problem solving knowledge, local control, local
dynamics, and at the same time, by constant interaction and
trade-offs between local (agent-level) and group-level
objectives and behavior. Successful applications of these
technologies lie notably in the areas of optimization,
distributed information and resource management, interoperability,
and personalization. Agent and multiagent technologies offer
new perspectives and possibilities for the development of
business applications; however, they induce new challenges to
the design of socio-technical information and communication
systems. Research questions relevant to this track range
from the description and analysis of business applications of
agent technologies, over the engineering of agent-enabled
information systems through the phases of the engineering cycle,
to issues of integration, (self-)organization and -optimization and
service-related aspects.

We welcome contributions dealing with enabling agent and multiagent
technologies in an application context, as well as project and
experience reports from industrial practice.

TRACK TOPICS:
-------------
Topics of interest to the track include, but are not restricted to:

* Business applications of agents and multiagent systems
* Agent-oriented modeling (e.g., in the context of Model-Driven
  Architecture TM)
* Engineering agent-based information systems
* Integrating agents with standard platforms and integrated
  information systems.
* (Multi-) agent technology for cross-enterprise integration and
interoperability (e.g., Service-Oriented Architecture, Web Services,
  Grid Computing, Ontologies)
* Agents for control, automation, and optimization of business
  processes and electronic markets
* Methods, architecture, and applications of decentral resource
management (multiagent systems and peer-to-peer computing)
* Best practice, project and experience reports

INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS:
------------------------

We kindly invite authors to submit interesting papers for the track.
Papers should be submitted in English or German and must not exceed
18 pages using the conference paper template (see link below). Each
submission must contain an abstract of max. 800 characters.

Accepted papers will be formally published in conference proceedings
and in an online system. Publication in the conference proceedings is
subject to the registration of at least one author to the conference,
including payment of the conference fee. All papers accepted will be
considered for the "Best Paper Award WI 2007" and, if applicable, for
the "Best Young Researcher Award WI 2007". The prize will be awarded
at the end of conference.

For details regarding submission style and online submission
process, please refer to the conference web site:
