We will contribute to the following parts of the project: • Developing image recognition algorithms to detect spectators in (live) video footage from both in-car and drone-mounted cameras. • Developing methods of sensor fusion to combine the spectator detection capabilities of several sensors. • Technology consulting to support other work packages where Contractor is not directly involved – e.g. formulating strategies to deploy drones for the purpose of creating ad-hoc communication infrastructure or for capturing airborne video footage. • Specification of Hardware Requirements of the final spectator detection system to enable Client to create a public Tender for commercial realization of the project’s outcome.
