Some Tourist Attractions Around Saarbücken
I sometimes get asked what to do in case of some time left over in SB and no
lust for visiting pubs. Well, here are some of my favourite ones:
- The castle in
Homburg with the caves. See also some things about what the romans left in the Saarland
- I personally find the old Hütte in Vöklkingen well worth a visit.
- Or the old mills in the Saarland. Here

- There are some very nice graveyards in Saarbücken: The one in a part
of Saarbücken called Rothenbühl is very nice. Also, the old jewish one in
case you go to restaurant Woll at the Spicherer Höhen (see for instance here). Restaurant
Woll is also worth a visit: their flammkuchen used to be the best around!
