FLUIDS Initial 1996 Demonstrator

The first milestone to be reached by the FLUIDS project consisted in having a prototype to demonstrate the basic features of the user interface software environment based on an off-line implementation of the actual domain. The demonstrator is an abstract version of aspects derived from the Turin and Madrid/Barcelona test sites by simulating the underlying system with an adequate set of data files obtained from the two information systems. The interactive FLUIDS demonstrator provides a multimedia interface which allows the user to play the role of an operator and to interact with the real-time control system, a simulated traffic management application.
