Dear all,

A new major release (version 1.1) of the OpenDial toolkit has just been released! In addition to stability and performance improvements, the release also includes a range of new functionalities, such as distributed setups, advanced pattern matching, incremental inputs, and various plugins for third-party components (speech APIs from Nuance and AT&T, MaltParser, etc.).

You can check out the release and its documentation on the OpenDial webpage:
	http://opendial.googlecode.com

As the toolkit is getting quite popular, I also created a "opendial-users" mailing list (opendial-users at googlegroups.com). Feel free to subscribe to the list to follow the development of the toolkit and discuss topics related to dialogue system research (the list will be low-volume, probably a few emails per month).

Cheers,
