[mary-users] Post-Lexical Rules Creation

I’d appreciate some advice on how to go about building post-lexical rules
for inter-word phoneme replacement.

An example in English where this is important might be:

" the apple" - it is more commonly pronounced / D i ' { - p @ l /

instead of / D @ ' { - p @ /

"The door" would be an example of needing / D @ d O /

Using just the lexicon we can only (I believe) enter one pronunciation for
that word and part of speech.

I'd love to add better handling for this and other cases, so I would
appreciate any suggestions, or code snippets if they're available.

Thank you!

David
