+1 for a more generalized version:

in general, it would be nice if we could pick which streams should the 
replay "align on" in the GUI directly (using e.g. a checkbox for each 
stream in the replay GUI). I have cases where I need to replay 10 
streams, but I am only interested in displaying new samples for 3 of them.
