[Rock-dev] Status update: master / next / stable

Internally at DFKI we decided to turn the rock "flavors" back ON. This 
is good news for everyone, as it means that people will have access to a 
more stable codebase than the ever-changing (and too-often-breaking) one 
that master holds.

I've updated the documentation regarding this:

   http://rock-robotics.org/startup/releases.html

I've branched the current master to next and I turned the flavor feature 
back ON on the build configurations (rock/buildconf.git, 
rock/buildconf-all.git and internally at DFKI). I'm currently running 
automated builds to verify that everything is fine.

I also wrote a script that generates the "state" of a flavor, i.e. 
compares packages / commits between two flavors. What's left to do is to 
automate the generation of that information and publish it on the 
rock-robotics website.

If you are adventurous, you can try it out ! Update the rock 
configuration and change the branch with

   autoproj update-config
   autoproj reconfigure

NOTE: stable is not available yet !!!!

Otherwise, waiting for me to tell if the main build works fine would be 
a good idea ;-)
