Comment:

 taskmon in master now uses the libproc library (based on parsing /proc)
 instead of the taskstats through netlink. The reason is that taskstats is
 considered harmful for security reasons, and requires root access on
 recent kernels. libproc is much older, well supported and is not so much
 of a performance hog anyway.

 There is loss of functionality, currently: the I/O statistics are not
 reported by libproc 3.2. Might be in libproc 3.3, but I cannot check right
 now.
