 The issue is not listed in manifest vs. non listed in manifest but defined
 in an autobuild file vs. not defined in an autobuild file. In the latter
 case, the current directory is detected as being a CMake package and built
 as-is.

 The proper fix will be to update the CMake package autodetection logic to
 find the topmost directory in which a CMakeLists.txt can be found.
