[Rock-dev] library for range data processing

Hi,
I'm working currently with a 3D laserscaner and intend to create a 
range_data_processing library where I can put some of the things I do.

As far as I saw, there is actually no such lib, right?

And I thought of putting it in rock-data-processing, not in drivers.
If I also move the current data type and visualization for 3D laserscans 
(MultilevelLaserScan) to this new lib, the velodyne driver would depend 
on it.

Is this ok or any other suggestions?
