 The only way this could be done is by (automatically) generating an opaque
 for all std::map we find, which means that the std::map will be converted
 to a list first and then back to std::map when transported.

 Given that we have lived without std::map, I am wondering about really how
 much it is "needed" (any other opinion on rock-dev ?). If rock-dev does
 agree that it would be a good thing, I am open for patches ...
