[Rock-dev] Rock Release 1408

Hey,
rock1408_rc1 has been out there for two weeks now.
Until now there have been zero bug reports, and also
zero feedback. If no one has objections, or discovers
any bugs until tomorrow, I would make rc1 a final release
then.
