By car:

Arriving from the highway A1 at the junction labelled "Bremer Kreuz" change to the highway A27 in direction "Bremerhaven". Leave the highway at the junction called "Universität / Horn-Lehe" (No. 19). Turn right at the second crossing into the "Hochschulring" then turn right at the second street "Am Fallturm". At the next crossing you turn right again in the "Robert-Hooke-Straße". Our building is the second on the left. In front of the DFKI building is a large parking place.

By train:

Exit the Bremen central station in the direction south (town center). Taxi and tram are leaving directly in front of the central station. Taking a taxi to the University of Bremen cost approx. 10,- Euro. It is cheaper to travel by tram: You take the tram no. 6 in direction "Universität" and exit at the terminal stop "Klagenfurter Straße". From here you will have to walk 5 minutes. So keep following the rail till the turning radius and turn right in the "Robert-Hooke-Straße". Another possibility to get to the university is by taking the busses 21, 28 or 32.

By plane:

Taking a taxi to the University of Bremen will cost approx. 18,- Euro. The tram goes directly from the airport to the University of Bremen. Exit at the terminal stop "Klagenfurter Strasse". From here you will have to walk 5 minutes. Keep following the rail till the turning radius and turn right in the "Robert-Hooke-Straße".

Directions to the Branch Office Osnabrück

By car: From Autobahn A30 take exit 16 (“Osnabrück Hellern”), then turn right to Lengericher Landstraße/K51 direction Osnabrück Center. After 2.9 km, turn left to Heger-Tor-Wall/B68, after 0.8 km turn right to Natruper Str./L88 and follow this road by turning left after 0.8 km. Turning left after 650 m, you’ll arrive at Barbarastraße.
Arriving from Autobahn A1 take exit 71 (“Osnabrück Hafen”) and follow L88 direction Osnabrück Center. After 4.6 km, turn right to Natruper Str. which you follow for 1.3 km, then turn right to Barbarastraße.

By train: Take either a taxi or the tram directly at Osnabrück Central Station. A taxi to University Osnabrück, Standort Westerberg will cost you approx. 10 €. Public transport is more economical. Bus no. 21 direction “Kreishaus/Zoo –Atterfeld” leaves at 20-minute intervals. Get off at “Hochschule Westerberg” which is right next to the Rechenzentrum AVZ (data center) on Albrechtstraße.
Optionally, busses no. 11, 12, 13, and 21 will take you to Sedanplatz (on Natruperstr.). During the daytime, these leave at ten-minute intervals. You’ll get to the Rechenzentrum via Albrechtstraße or Barbarastraße.

By plane: The nearest airport is Münster/Osnabrück, at a 40 minutes drive from Osnabrück. The airport shuttle service X150 leaves every hour and is a comfortable connection to and from Osnabrück. Get off at “Neumarkt” and change to one of the bus lines mentioned above.

By car:

From the autobahn A1 change at "Bremer Kreuz" on the A27 in direction "Cuxhaven/Bremerhaven". Leave the A27 at exit 19 "Horn-Lehe/Universität". At the second intersection turn right into "Universitätsallee", and at the next traffic lights turn right again into "Enrique-Schmidt-Straße". Use the the parking lot there (parking fee € 0.60 in exact change). The Cartesium is the first building on the right side of Enrique-Schmidt-Straße, easily distinguished by its bright red colour.

By train:

Exit the Bremen central station in the direction south (town center). Taxi and tram are leaving directly in front of the central station. A taxi to the University of Bremen is approx. € 10. It is cheaper to travel by tram: take the tram line 6 in direction "Universität" and exit at the station "Universität/NW1". Cross the big parking lot bearing right, and you will turn into Enrique-Schmidt-Straße. The Cartesium is the first building on the right side. Another possibility to get to the university are the buss lines 21, 28 or 32.

By plane:

The research department "Cyber-Physical Systems" (SCCS) is located in the 2nd floor of the Cartesium building. Use the phone in front of the glass door (tel. 64221) to be let in.
