By plane via Saarbrücken Airport:
Take a taxi to the Universität des Saarlandes in Saarbrücken. Travel time is about 20 minutes, Price: about 15,- Euro
By plane via Frankfurt Airport then with the Bahn:
To Saarbrücken main station then take a taxi (ca. 10 minutes, about 8,- Euro) or by bus (for further info see VGS)
By car from Mannheim or Paris (A6):
Leave the highway at the junction labelled "St.Ingbert-West": turn right and follow the white sign pointing towards the university (Universität) - after 3 km turn to the left and keep going straight on - after another 2 km turn right at the sign indicating "Jägerheim, Universität". After 1 km turn left to the main entrance of the University. The route is clearly signposted.
The gate keeper has been instructed to allow visitors of the DFKI to pass through without any difficulties. After another 50 m you will see a large steel sculpture. Stay in the right-hand lane and follow the brown sign reading "Jägerheim, INM, DFKI". After 80 m turn left and keep going straight on for another 200 m until you get to the DFKI (building no. D3 2) - it is white with blue window frames. There is a parking lot below the building.
