
About MeI am researcher at DFKI's Language Technology Lab and currently working in the EU project EXCITEMENT. My research focusses on the exploration of customer interactions using textual inference. In 2012, I was selected as participant of the Software Campus programme. From 2010 to 2012, I was responsible for coordinating the author teams of the META-NET White Paper series "Europe's Languages in the Digital Age", which reports on the state of language technology support for 30 European languages. I'm also co-author of the volume on the German language: The German Language in the Digital Age. In the past, I've acquired and conducted industrial projects in the field of intelligent enterprise search. Together with Hubert Truckenbrodt, I am working on an introductory book on Phonetics and Phonology.
