I am a researcher at the Department of Applied Linguistics, Translation and Interpreting at Saarland University and at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI).


I received a Masters Degree in Natural Language Processing from the University of Wolverhampton (UK) with a thesis entitled: 'A Supervised Machine Learning Method for Word Sense Disambiguation of Portuguese Nouns'.

Research Interests

I am interested in studying language using empirical, computational methods, and corpora. I have been working on different topics in the interface between corpus linguistics, computational linguistics, and translation studies. You can find a list of my publications here.
