Basically anything that makes devices more user friendly. Here are some of the topics I've been working on: Multimodal Dialogue and Discourse Modeling/Processing, Natural Language Parsing/Generation, Automatic Validation of Dialogue Systems/Models, Statistical Modeling, Default Reasoning, VoiceXML technology, Meeting Summarization, User-Centred Design, Accessible Human-Computer Interaction, Design for all, Mobility: public transportation for everyone, Health and Wellbeing, OpenURC Technology, Common Criteria, FDA certification, eHealth: Early Detection and Prevention, ...Current Projects:
