 Pushed a workaround for this:

 commit 5842e2bfc8c9c00351dc26d91011fbc8880b3495 for rock_base_package set

 Set rake-compiler version to rake-compiler<=0.8.2

 I leave this ticket open if a newer version of rake-compiler is required
 or rubygems get updated.
