[Rock-dev] ENV AUTOPROJ_PROJECT_BASE vs. AUTOPROJ_CURRENT_ROOT

It seems that the ENV

AUTOPROJ_PROJECT_BASE

was silently replaced by

AUTOPROJ_CURRENT_ROOT

Was there a good reason to do this?, this already affected several 
packages,
could we please announce this before, and/or create as a interim 
solution the old variable...
