qtruby and Qt5 is not released, but is not dead either.

More short-term, there are already bindings for ruby and QML, which
would seem to be pretty feature-rich (i.e. would also allow having a
two-way bridge between C++ widgets and Ruby code).

Finally, there are the Qt/Java bindings which would be available from JRuby
