Under the motto “Sustainable Business with AI”, the Green AI Hub Forum will showcase successful business examples in the fields of Green AI and AI for sustainability. We will discuss how companies can successfully use AI to improve resource efficiency, the importance of sustainable AI in business, and current AI solutions for circular economy approaches. Network with representatives from associations, companies, and AI development, as well as representatives of the Federal Ministry for the Environment and the Green AI Hub SME initiative.
The event will take place on December 2, 2025, in Berlin and via live stream.

The forum brings together business, research, and politics and presents practical examples of how AI can reduce energy and material consumption or promote sustainable value chains. In addition to keynotes, workshops, and demonstrators, the event will focus on topics such as “AI for Greater Sustainability”, “Using Data for AI”, and “Making Companies AI-Ready”.
The Green AI Hub SME initiative is one of the AI initiatives of the Federal Ministry for the Environment. Through this initiative, the ministry promotes the sustainable design of AI and the use of its potential for the benefit of climate and the environment. On behalf of the ministry, Zukunft – Umwelt – Gesellschaft (ZUG) gGmbH coordinates the implementation of the Green AI Hub SME initiative. Operations are carried out by the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI), the Wuppertal Institute, the VDI Technology Center, and the VDI Center for Resource Efficiency.
