Project

Commius

Commius

  • Duration:

More than 99% of European enterprises are SMEs (Small and Medium-sized Enterprises). While in the current market situation collaboration is evolving to an indispensable key factor of success, research is yet to produce results which can be used by SMEs. The European Commius Project aims at enabling SMEs to collaborate easily on the level of system, semantic and process interoperability. Hence the Commius solution will dock onto existing E-Mail structures (system interoperability) and enrich, dependant upon its content (semantic interoperability,) incoming E-Mails with additional information and provide recommendations of expedient further steps to process the E-Mail (process interoperability). Since the Commius solution will be tailored for SMEs, which are mostly facing limited resources, the project furthermore sets itself the overall goal to make the solution applicable without need of high start-up or running costs.
