Abstract

In this position paper we present the idea of a testbed and simulation environment for digital object memories and their applications. Their development requires much effort and the success relies heavily on good planning and testing. For testing purposes a wide variety of digital object memories would be desirable which covers as many as possible situations that could rise up like when in the future the application would be deployed in large-scale. With our approach we want to facilitate and foster the creation of consistent, meaningful and rich digital object memories by means of a three-dimensional virtual world. The overall goal would be an expandable system which additionally supports the development, testing and deployment of applications and systems based on digital object memories.
