Zusammenfassung

Data spaces play an essential role in the climate-neutral and digital transformation of the European energy sector. Although all data spaces are conceptually designed to be interoperable and connectable within the Gaia-X framework, the actual seamless integration of diverse data within a data space remains a significant open challenge due to the use of varying software components. This inherent complexity, coupled with a lack of easily deployable solutions, represents a substantial barrier to participation, especially for small and medium-sized Enterprises. The presented marketplace framework is designed for rapid deployment and scalability. Therefore, it enables complete containerization, allowing for the fast adoption of its technology within existing or emerging data space infrastructures. Thus, it directly addresses existing gaps by minimizing the impact of the underlying data space technology on users. In addition, the framework establishes a rigorous and objective evaluation algorithm based on the Digital Twins Maturity Index. The benefits and added value of the proposed framework are evaluated in an energy marketplace use case. In addition, the data acquisition process is critically examined in performance experiments.
